Build on Netrun

Ideas Start With Builders

Every useful product begins with someone noticing a problem and deciding to work on it. Netrun is an invitation to bring that perspective to connected onchain experiences. We want to learn from developers, designers, creators, and the communities they work with.

You might be exploring a small interaction, working through an integration problem, or imagining a completely new application. Start with the experience you want to create and the people you want to make it useful for.

What We Want to Build

Clear foundations. Understandable interfaces and well-defined responsibilities give builders a dependable starting point. We want the reasoning behind each decision to be as accessible as the interface itself.

Room to experiment. Early work should make it easy to try an idea, observe what happens, and change direction. Small prototypes can answer questions that a large specification cannot.

Useful connections. Shared capabilities become more valuable when different teams can use them with confidence. Examples, compatibility notes, and practical documentation are part of that work.

Open collaboration. Questions and constructive criticism help reveal blind spots. We want builders to be able to explain where an approach falls short and contribute to making it better.

Bring Your Perspective

The most useful contribution may be a piece of code, a design, a well-described problem, or a question nobody has asked. What matters is making an idea concrete enough for other people to understand and respond to.

Share the outcome you want to achieve, what you have tried, and what remains uncertain. That context gives a conversation somewhere to begin and makes it easier to identify a practical next step.
